Arborist Training

Arborist Faller Training 
This training is for arborists that have registered with the Western Arborist Association. To register, email Bill Hardy: bhardy@horteducationbc.com

The Arborist Faller Training is available to arborists who want to receive further training to help pass the faller endorsement through the Western Arborist Association. This training will have you falling trees, and practicing all 19 of the parts of the arborist falling evaluation. With close supervision, focus on: 
* site, hazard and stem assessments
* removing hung up trees
* offsetting a heavy leaner
* learning arborist limitations 

Arborist Evaluation/Endorsement
The arborist that takes the E.I.T.I arborist training to become Certified Utility Arborist (CUA) can go through the faller evaluation to receive the faller endorsement, which is required to work around BC hydro powerlines.

Arborist Faller Mentoring 
This is a training for a person that failed their falling endorsement and must receive further training. Before they can be re-evaluated for the endorsement. This training will work on the weak parts of your falling and build on your falling skills.
